What we do

Delaware's home renovation resource — connecting homeowners with the right contractor, first time.

Finding a good contractor in Delaware is harder than it should be. Too many search results lead to national aggregators that sell your details to a dozen companies. Delaware Drywalls works differently: you submit one request, we match you with one verified local contractor who covers your county and your trade. No bidding wars. No spam calls. Just a direct introduction.

Every contractor on this platform holds a current Delaware contractor licence, carries appropriate insurance, and has been manually reviewed before their profile goes live. We cover all three counties — New Castle, Kent, and Sussex.

Why Delaware Drywalls

Built for Delaware.
Not everywhere.

Delaware contractor at work

National platforms send your project to the highest bidder. We send it to the right contractor — someone who knows your county, holds a Delaware licence, and has a track record we've verified ourselves.

We are not a marketplace. We are a matching service. The difference matters.

About the platform
01

One contractor, not twelve

You submit one request. We find one match. No bidding wars, no spam calls from contractors you never heard of.

02

Delaware-licensed only

Every contractor on this platform holds a current Delaware Division of Revenue licence. We check before they go live.

03

All three counties covered

New Castle, Kent, and Sussex. Whether you are in Wilmington or Rehoboth, we have contractors who know your area.

04

Verified reviews, blind submission

Both sides review each other after project completion. Neither party sees the review until both have submitted.

05

Free for homeowners, always

Homeowners never pay to use this service. Contractors pay for premium lead access — that is how we keep it free.

Common questions

Before you submit a request

How does Delaware Drywalls work?

You submit a short project request — trade, county, and a brief description. We match you with one verified, licensed contractor who covers your area. They contact you within 48 hours. There is no bidding, no spam, and no cost to you.

Is this service free for homeowners?

Yes. Homeowners never pay anything to use this platform. Contractors pay a subscription fee for lead access, which is how we keep the service free for homeowners.

What if I am not happy with the contractor you match me with?

You can pass on a contractor at any point before work begins. We will find you another match. If more than five passes occur, we will reach out to discuss your project in more detail.

How do you verify that contractors are licensed?

Every contractor on this platform holds a current Delaware Division of Revenue contractor licence. We check licence numbers against the Delaware public registry before a profile goes live, and we re-verify annually.

Which counties do you cover?

We cover all three Delaware counties: New Castle, Kent, and Sussex. This includes Wilmington, Newark, Dover, Smyrna, Milford, Georgetown, Rehoboth Beach, and all surrounding areas.

What trades do you match?

Currently: drywall installation and repair, interior and exterior painting, basement finishing, insulation (spray foam, batts, blown-in), and ceiling repair. We are actively growing our contractor network across additional trades.

How do reviews work?

After a project is marked complete, both the homeowner and contractor are invited to leave a review. Neither party can see the other's review until both have submitted — this keeps reviews honest. Reviews are published after a seven-day window.

I am a contractor. How do I get listed?

Visit our contractor page and use the Magic Mirror tool to find your existing profile, or submit your details to be listed. We verify your Delaware licence and get back to you within one business day.
